The Foot Paintings

My foot paintings are part of a miniature series of 6"x 6" paintings that I paint from time to time, particularly when I am experimenting with a new color or technique. I have an obsession with painting feet that goes back to my youth and is based on my love of anatomy, bones, tendons and such. The beauty and complexity of the foot, which consists of twenty six bones, is the perfect subject for my expression and experimentation.
